Response Robotics Summer School

Posted by noda on the 23rd of June 2013.

From the 9 to the 13 of September 2013 in Perth, Western Australia

The Response Robotics Summer School (RRSS) addresses the need for effective robotic solutions in emergency response scenarios with a focus on remote handling needs in response situations. It is the latest of a long line of highly successful academic events in response robotics, revolving around the RoboCupRescue Robot League and dating back over a
decade. This event consists of lectures, panel discussions, and practical exercises lead by world class researchers, developers, and responders. It is co-located with the Bomb Response Technology Seminar (BRTS), hosted by the Western Australia Police Bomb Response Unit (WAPol BRU) and attended by Australian and international representatives of bomb squads, military, industry, and government agencies. We welcome students and researchers from all interested institutions worldwide.
