Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are being formed to further promote
research in specific scientific and technical topics.
The aims of SIG are:
- to provide a forum of discussions on specific scientific
and technical topics by organizing workshops, mailing-list, and web
pages,
- to define long-, mid-range milestone for RoboCup's
ultimate challenge,
- to encourage and manage exchange of technical resources,
such as technical documents, source codes, design documents, and know-hows.
Call for Proposal
Those who wish to propose a SIG shall submit a written proposal to
robocup-exec@symbio.jst.go.jp
or directly to
pstone@cs.utexas.edu. A proposal
shall describe:
- Title of the SIG
- Reasons (needs and merits) for proposed SIG
- Activity Plan
- Steering Committee List
- Expected participants
- Please try to ensure that the steering committee
list includes people from different RoboCup leagues and at least one
person from outside the RoboCup community
