Overview

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are being formed to further promote research in specific scientific and technical topics.
The aims of SIG are:

  • to provide a forum of discussions on specific scientific and technical topics by organizing workshops, mailing-list, and web pages,
  • to define long-, mid-range milestone for RoboCup's ultimate challenge,
  • to encourage and manage exchange of technical resources, such as technical documents, source codes, design documents, and know-hows.

Call for Proposal

Those who wish to propose a SIG shall submit a written proposal to robocup-exec@symbio.jst.go.jp or directly to
pstone@cs.utexas.edu. A proposal shall describe:

  1. Title of the SIG
  2. Reasons (needs and merits) for proposed SIG
  3. Activity Plan
  4. Steering Committee List
  5. Expected participants
  6. Please try to ensure that the steering committee list includes people from different RoboCup leagues and at least one person from outside the RoboCup community
