The RoboCup Italian Open 2026 – Humanoid Soccer Workshop and Games aims to establish a dedicated international RoboCup Humanoid Soccer event in Italy, hosted within Maker Faire Rome-The European Edition(https://makerfairerome.eu/).The event will bring together RoboCup Humanoid Soccer teams, researchers, students,and technology enthusiasts, offering both a competitive tournament and a dedicated technical workshop. Its main purpose is to promote research, education, and public engagement in robotics and artificial intelligence,  with a specific focus on humanoid robot soccer.The event will provide participating teams with the opportunity to test their systems in a competitive environment, exchange technical knowledge, and engage with a large public audience interested in robotics, innovation,and emerging technologies.
Competitions and Leagues

The event willfocus on the RoboCup Humanoid Soccer League and will include the following main divisions:
●RoboCup Humanoid Soccer League-Adult Size Division
●RoboCup Humanoid Socce rLeague-Middle Size Division The competition is expected to involveup to 10 RoboCup teams:
●Up to 6 teams for the Middle Size Division
● Up to 4 teams for the Adult Size Division
The games will follow the official RoboCup2026 Humanoid Soccer League rules. The competition will include 3vs3 and 5vs5 modalities, according to the applicable Humanoid League rules and the availability of participating teams and robotic platforms.
